ASSEMBLY & PACKING
ASSEMBLY PACKING AND WAREHOUSING
Our facility has 80,000 sq ft devoted to the assembly, packaging, and warehousing of your goods. Our quality control standards ensure a finished product delivered to your desired destination.
On the shop floor, Midland Metal Products continues to invest in the latest technologies such as Laser, CNC, and Robotics, with the intention of providing our customers with the quality service they expect.
HOW WE DO IT

LASER CUTTING
Midland operates three automated high-speed laser cell that process 60” x 120” steel sheets up to 1.125” thick. Our laser can also cut many other materials including; aluminum stainless steel, most plastics, and even wood. Our laser uses sophisticated technology that allows us to cut most of our thickness range WITHOUT the use of expensive purified assist gases.

WIRE FORMING
While sheet metal and tubing provide key structural and visual elements to our displays, our wire forming capability allows us to deliver on the more intricate or ornamental aspects of any job. CNC generated 3-D imagery allows us to create and preview an infinite variety of wire formations. These pre-programmed formations are numerically fed to our 3D CNC wire forming machinery.

TUBE FABRICATING
Midland’s two tube lasers can process 24 ft. lengths of round (0.75” to 6.0” in diameter), square (4” x 4”), and obround tubing. It can also fabricate non-tube profiles such as formed channels. Various materials can be processed including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. During fabrication, the machine can be used to cut off tubes into smaller pieces and fabricate slots, holes, pie shapes, and fish mouths. Our system eliminates the need for hard tooling, improves accuracy and repeatability, and makes fabrication fast and flexible.

POWDER COATING
All powder coating is done under our roof. We operate the latest state-of-the-art powder coating equipment. Like our production environment, focus is always placed on quality, cost, and on-time performance. We designed our custom powder coating equipment to maintain control of these aspects. We utilize two different coating strategies; we can change colors in 17 seconds with no associated downtime and we can also be extremely cost-effective for high volume, long-running jobs as we also reclaim powder.

ASSEMBLY PACKING AND WAREHOUSING
Because Midland Metal Products is a full-service display manufacturer, our facility has 30,000 square feet devoted to the critical assembly and packaging of your manufactured goods. As packing and assembly is the final stage in the process, we employ rigorous quality control standards during this stage to ensure a quality-finished product is delivered on schedule to your desired location.
Our unmatched industry expertise guarantees an understanding of custom requirements such as compressed timelines, flexibility, and the ability to deliver on shorter, more specialized, as well as longer run projects.
